Canadian national and brother to Bernard and Jean. Jacques started as a lumberman until his excess weight forced him to seek employment at the Roadhouse as a bartender. When his dealings with Leo started to be more actively investigated by Sheriff Truman, he fled across the border to Canada and became a blackjack dealer at One-eyed Jacks. He was involved with Laura Palmer and Ronette Pulaski, taking the pictures of the ads the girls put in Fleshworld magazine and partying with the girls often. Jacques is tricked by Cooper into coming across the border when Cooper and Ed went undercover at One-eyed Jacks. He was shot by Andy while being arrested and later smothered by Leland Palmer in his bed in intensive care later that night.
