Characters > Laura Palmer Senior of Twin Peaks High School, homecoming queen and honor student. On the outside, Laura was the girl next door that everyone loved and respected. She was involved in several activities that made her the model young citizen like starting the Meals on Wheels with Norma Jennings. Laura, however, had a secret side that led to her destruction. She was a drug-addict and promiscuous having relations with many of the men of Twin Peaks and the surrounding area.
