Father of Laura and one of the most respected lawyers in Twin Peaks. His clients include Doc Hayward and Ben Horne. There is something going on with Leland that he is not entirely sure about. Apparently, he is the consummate grieving father, wrecked by his daughters’ death, always prone to crying and compulsive dancing, but underneath is a deeper secret directly connected to his daughter’s inner torment and her death.
