Cousin of Laura Palmer who comes to Twin Peaks for Laura’s funeral and stays with Leland and Sarah to help them out while they overcome her death. Madeleine has visions of Laura’s killer and does not know that she is the next to lose her life in the series of murders. During her stay in Twin Peaks, she also assists Donna and James in the private investigation and later helps Donna try to get Laura’s secret diary from Harold Smith.
